"August 5th of 1997 was the beginning of the infamous and still ongoing disappearance case known as the 'Ghost Case'. The first victims of this case were Mary Eries, Connor Eries, and their three sons Winston, Levi, and Tomas Eries; a small family from rural California. On August 5th of 1997 it is believed that the entire family was taken unsuspectingly in the night without any trace only for the mother and father to have been found dead 4 days after their disappearance, their sons have not yet been located. According to the officers, when they were found the bodies had been disassembled and strewn about at random. They say it didn't look like they had struggled.
This case is known as the Ghost Case because of the way all of the victims disappeared, there was no trace of them. They were there and then gone in a flash without having any evidence of who or what could have taken them. So far, the only leads authorities have on this case is that all of the children who were taken were under the age of 10 and male. However, recently there have been reports of both women and men younger than 30 disappearing as well, which has thrown authorities back to square one. However, one person that they have recently been interviewing may know more than what he lets on. Vincent Johnson, a former scientist of the Institution of Physiological Health is assumed to know something that officers don't know about the case however he has not spoken since authorities have apprehended him. While they are attempting to make him speak the newest victim of the Ghost Case was a young man named Jake Jacobs who was 19 and last seen walking on the side of the road September 23rd 2016 before allegedly disappearing into the night. In the past 20 years, over 200 children and teenagers have gone missing and none have yet been found. Authorities assure the people that have missing family that they will catch whoever is doing this and bring them to justice, but some are doubtful...Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Ghost Case, be safe."

It’s burning.
That is the only way to describe in accurate detail of the emotion he felt; an overwhelming sensation of hatred. It coursed through his body and it burned licking flame all the while spreading like an infectious virus. It spread to his heart and mind, blurring any sense of rationality and reason. What were to happen if a human were combined with the genetics and unique characteristics of an animal whether it be mammal or reptilian?
